How to use BalanceCare

Step 1: Test your patient’s balance

*If any time will elapse between administration of balance test and use of this software, please write down the score so it's not forgotten. The scale does not store scores.

Step 3: Save your Report

FAQ’s

Q: What if I’m new to the practice? How do I get a login?

A: Please ask your account administrator to notify us at support@zibrio.com to get you assigned to BalanceCare for your practice.

Q: What if a patient can’t stand unsupported for 60 seconds?

A: If a patient cannot stand unsupported for the full duration of the test, you should mark it as a failed test. It would be helpful to also describe this in the patient notes field. For example “operator had to support patient half way through test. This puts the patient at high risk for falling.”

Q: What if the patient has a walker or assistive device?

A: Many brands of walkers are able to be used to help the patient up onto the scale. From there they should steady themselves and then follow the test protocol. If a patient cannot stand unsupported for the whole test, it should be marked as a failed test.

Q: What if I forgot to save the report?

A: Please answer the questions again and make a new report. BalanceCare does not store data.
